MARITIME ADMINISTRATION: EXTENDING OF VALIDITY OF CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY TO 31/12/2020

On the grounds of Art. 362 of the Merchant Shipping Code, in the context of the COVID-19 outbreak and the state of emergency declared by Decision of 13.03.2020 of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria, following the recommendations of Circular Letter No 4204 / Add.5 / Rev.1 of 2 April 2020 of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), pursuant to Order No 125 / 24.03.2020 on extending the validity of certificates of competency and certificates of proficiency for seafarers on board of vessels and taking into account similar measures taken by States with a significant number of certified seafarers, I ORDER:
